The birth of Bomond

Birth of Bomond

Our story is the story of a father who wanted more for his family, of hope lost and gained, of a dream that never died, of battles lost and wars won. Our story is the story of rebirth and regeneration, for ours is a legacy born of the sweet hopes of what could be and a future worth having. Our story is the story of a family with a tradition of making the finest vodka around, both in times of celebration and in times of war. Yet, our story is quite simple, really: A century ago in an ancient village between the Caspian and Black seas, a truly special libation was crafted, a European vodka of the highest order. Descended from the vodkas once reserved for the nobility of Europe, Bomond is a taste of old-world luxury with a modern-day twist. His great grandfather learned to distill vodka from a time-honored family recipe passed down through the generations. His grandparents continued making the drink while the country was ablaze in the fires of war. He inherited the recipe and the technique, refining it further still as he travelled the world in search of the most succulent fruits and highest quality grains to make his family’s vodka the best it could be. He immigrated to the US from the Soviet Union after the fall of the Berlin Wall with nothing but a suitcase and that recipe. He traveled to France for the final elements needed to perfect his vodka, then he brought that perfect vodka back to America, a journey of over 8,500 miles. Bomond means “beautiful world”, and that is exactly what you will find in each shot of Bomond vodka: the finest ingredients from across our beautiful world, distilled into the smoothest vodka you will ever taste. He broke with tradition so that you could make a few of your own. Bomond’s story is good. Yours can be better. Let Bomond help you tell it, because everyone knows the best stories are told at night.
